The available evidence supports browser, terminal, file-editing, and MCP integration capabilities, and there are posts describing its design principles and beta features. Still, much of the outside discussion is reposts, trending-repo hype, and demos rather than many deep independent hands-on reviews.
Its practical role is to turn natural-language tasks into actions across real tools: CLI, filesystem, browser, and potentially computer control, with MCP used to extend the tool layer. It is not best understood as just another chatbot, and not exactly a pure RPA tool either. A more accurate analogy is a developer-facing multimodal agent orchestration and execution framework. On cost and adoption barriers, the evidence only supports that it is open source, cross-platform/local-capable, and modular.
