AMiner
An AI academic platform for researchers to search papers, patents, and scholars, aided by reading and knowledge management tools.
Tool overview
AMiner is an AI academic platform developed by Tsinghua University, integrating over 330 million papers, 180 million patents, and 60 million scholar profiles through a 100‑billion‑entity academic knowledge graph. Powered by GLM series models, it supports natural‑language intelligent search that delivers in‑depth scholar portraits, citation networks, and institutional research insights.
Beyond search, AMiner features an AI reading assistant and a “Research Labs” notebook that allows importing files in 10 formats (PDF, code, tables, etc.) and grounding Q&A in the academic graph to reduce fabrication. The platform also offers “AMiner Contemplation” for deep research, which autonomously plans, searches, and generates structured literature reviews. A dynamic surveillance function tracks specified scholars, institutions, and conferences in real time.
No significant drawbacks are reported in available sources, but the experience relies on the underlying GLM model’s accuracy; AI outputs may still require human verification for critical decisions.
