Catwalk is the model registry powering Charm’s Crush. It collects provider and model metadata so Crush users can browse, select, and swap large language models directly in the terminal with a beautiful TUI experience. The key advantage is deep integration with Crush, offering a consistent, keyboard‑driven workflow. As an open‑source project under the Charm ecosystem, it welcomes community contributions, making it easy to add support for new providers and models. Built in Go, it inherits the lightweight, aesthetic principles of Bubble Tea and Lip Gloss. Catwalk is fairly new, with around 750 GitHub stars and limited documentation. The project does not handle inference itself; you must bring your own API keys (BYOK). Reliability depends on third‑party providers and the Crush agent. It is free and open source.
