claude-chat-mobile
Access your own local Claude CLI from your phone, keeping the same project config, MCP tools, and login.
Tool overview
claude-chat-mobile is a self-hosted open-source tool that lets you access your local Claude CLI from your phone. It preserves your existing CLAUDE.md config, MCP tools, and skills while reusing the same login, giving you a consistent AI assistant experience on the go.
Advantages: seamless desktop-to-mobile workflow without reconfiguring complex environments; all data stays in your own infrastructure, reducing exposure; a default locked policy provides basic security.
Drawbacks and requirements: you must host the backend yourself, requiring knowledge of Node.js, reverse proxies, and firewall rules; exposing a local CLI to the internet can create security risks if misconfigured; the project has very limited public evidence, so production-scale reliability is unknown.
Deployment and cost: free and open-source, but you need an always-on machine (home server or cloud VM) and cover its running cost. Best for developers and AI engineers with ops skills; not suitable for non-technical users.
