Worth adopting if Obsidian is already your main workspace and you are comfortable configuring AI agents yourself. The evidence supports the core claim that it brings agent workflows into the note environment, but evidence is still limited for judging long-term stability, maintenance quality, or performance on more complex projects.

In practice, this is not a general AI chat app and not a full IDE. A better comparison is an agent workspace inside Obsidian. Multiple Zhihu tutorials and usage writeups describe the same benefit: less terminal switching, less file-path copying, and fewer back-and-forth paste steps, because Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and similar tools can work with vault context directly. The “heat proof” mostly comes from X reposts, recommendation threads, and mentions of GitHub stars, which show attention rather than capability. The stronger “usefulness proof” comes from setup guides, walkthroughs, and first-hand usage notes that demonstrate actual workflows and setup friction.

The barrier and cost are real.
