What it does: Command Code runs as a CLI tool, supporting switches between leading LLMs. The /design command generates complete front‑end code for SaaS, portfolios, dashboards, and more. It can parse an entire Next.js codebase in about 3 prompts, mapping the schema, surfacing architectural patterns, and tracing a real request‑to‑payment flow.

Advantages: Users can pick different models for different tasks; in self‑reported tests, GLM 5.2 outperformed competitors on design quality and motion effects. After recent infrastructure upgrades, p50 time‑to‑first‑token dropped to 965 ms and most models run 5–8× faster. The $1 Go plan provides entry‑level access with 10× credits, 1‑M token context, and tool‑use support.

Drawbacks/Risks: All performance claims are based on the vendor’s own X posts; independent verification is missing. GUI, SDK, sandboxes, and other upcoming features are still in development, so current interaction is limited to the command line. Stability and support for production teams have not been demonstrated.

Cost & fit: Installation via `npm i -g command-code@latest`. The Go plan costs $1 with bonus credits; Pro and Max tiers are planned.
