Cursor for iOS

Adoption verdict: it looks useful if you already use Cursor and often need to keep work moving while away from your desk; the current evidence does not support treating it as a full mobile IDE for serious coding. It is not Xcode on an iPhone, and not just a generic remote desktop app. A better comparison is a mobile control surface and notification layer for Cursor agents.

Based on the available evidence, its practical value centers on two workflows: launching always-on cloud agents from the phone, and remotely controlling an agent running on your computer. Official posts repeatedly mention Live Activities, reviewing demos and diffs, and merging PRs from mobile. One user post describes dictating an idea during a walk and checking results later; that is stronger evidence than repost-driven hype, but it is still a small early sample rather than broad proof of smooth use in complex development.

As for friction and cost, the app appears to be in public beta, so stability should be judged conservatively and network dependence is part of the workflow. Remote use also requires your computer to keep Cursor running.
