However, real-world testing shows that complex, multi-file projects (>10k lines) often fail, and the output quality is confined by the underlying model (e.g., Claude 3.5 Sonnet). More critically, local code indexing uploads code via chunked embeddings to the cloud, raising privacy and security concerns. Advanced features like Devv Code are currently in limited beta.
