Google Antigravity is an agent-first AI IDE powered by native Gemini 3 Pro inference. With Editor, Manager, and a built-in Playground, it shifts the developer's role from manual coder to technical manager who describes tasks, while agents autonomously edit files, debug, and preview results.

In practice, Antigravity excels at simplifying creation of animated front-end landing pages and full-stack prototypes. Users can generate award-quality interactive sites by combining Antigravity with models such as GPT Image or Veo 3. A CLI version brings the same agent capabilities to command-line environments, optimized for SSH and keyboard-driven workflows, filling the gap for remote server development.

Currently free during its public beta, Antigravity supports switching between top-tier models like Claude Opus 4.5 and Gemini 3 Flash. Community tutorials help with localization, but occasional instability or error messages can occur with free tiers, and usage is capped at 60 requests per minute, 1000 per day.
