What it does: Humanizer is not a standalone writing model, not a grammar checker, and not an AI-detector evasion tool. A more accurate comparison is a reusable set of de-AI-toning rewrite rules for Claude Code. The repository and creator post point to the same idea: use patterns derived from Wikipedia’s list of AI-writing signs so Claude Code reduces stiff transitions, canned phrasing, over-formality, and salesy tone. That supports use cases like polishing articles, product copy, and internal documentation that already exist as drafts.
