Kelos

Based on the currently available evidence, Kelos is best viewed as an early open-source framework worth watching, not yet something we can confidently describe as broadly adopted. The main visible proof is its official GitHub repository plus star/fork counts. That supports attention and early interest, but by itself does not prove real-world reliability or sustained team usage. We do not have hands-on writeups, deep tutorials, production case studies, or substantial third-party analysis, so any judgment on adoption and maturity should stay conservative.

Its role is also easy to misunderstand. Kelos is not a general AI coding assistant, and it is not an IDE companion in the Cursor or Copilot sense. A more accurate analogy is an orchestration layer for AI coding agents in Kubernetes. In practice, that suggests infrastructure for scheduling, coordinating, isolating, and operating multiple autonomous coding agents in cluster environments, with the output being managed multi-agent development workflows rather than one-off code chat.
