Tool overview

Adoption view: worth trying cautiously for early-stage drafting, but not yet well supported as a primary system for formal design or requirements management. The current evidence for attention is mostly a tool-directory listing and a small number of social posts. The evidence for actual capability comes mainly from a few Zhihu experience posts that describe workflows and outputs. However, the sample is small, mostly positive in tone, and lacks independent comparisons, long-term usage reports, or detailed failure cases. So it looks more like a productivity aid than a proven replacement product.

Practical role: based on the available sources, PMAI is not a general chatbot and not a full professional UI design suite. It is better understood as an AI generator for product artifacts and prototype drafts. The clearest supported functions are generating high-fidelity prototypes from short descriptions, creating PRDs from text or prototype images, and producing supporting outputs such as flowcharts, sequence diagrams, test cases, SQL, and weekly reports.
