Qbot
Qbot is an open-source local platform for quant developers and individual traders to produce backtestable, monitorable, and broker-connectable trading strategies and workflows.
Tool overview
Based on the available evidence, Qbot is worth tracking, but it is better framed as a modifiable open-source quant platform than a broadly proven live-trading system. Multiple X posts show strong views and reposts, and Zhihu has several explainers and tutorials; that supports attention and awareness. But attention is not proof of usability. The stronger evidence comes from walkthroughs, architecture breakdowns, and feature summaries. There is still limited long-term live-trading feedback, performance review, or large-scale user reporting, so confidence in real-world outcomes should remain cautious.
In practice, Qbot appears to unify common quant tasks into one local workflow: data collection, factor/strategy development, backtesting, paper trading, live execution, plus GUI/Web interfaces and notifications. Evidence suggests support for stocks, funds, futures, and crypto, with room for ML and deep-learning-based strategy extensions. It is not an “AI money-printing bot.
