Tool overview

WorkBuddy looks worth trying if you want finished deliverables rather than just chat replies, but the current evidence supports attention and early scenario demos more strongly than proven superiority in complex workflows. The safest framing is that it is an office-oriented AI agent client with ready-made expert templates and workflows. It is not the underlying general-purpose model, not an RPA automation suite, and not simply an IDE coding assistant.

Its practical value is turning multi-step tasks into outputs. Multiple X posts mention 100+ built-in experts or expert teams that can generate brand diagnostics, analysis, plans, and organized materials. Zhihu hands-on posts describe flows like downloading resources, distilling them into skills, batch file handling, and environment setup. Compared with leaderboard-style hype, these demos and reverse-engineering posts are stronger evidence of an actual skill system and executable workflow design. In particular, the post dissecting a Deep Research-related skill is better “usefulness proof” than repost volume. Still, most evidence is short-form and personal rather than systematic benchmarking.
