What it actually does: Zidong Taichu is not a general-purpose chatbot. Its flagship product, ScienceClaw, acts as a “full-stack research workflow executor.” It takes complex research requests, autonomously breaks them into executable steps, invokes over 1,900 research-specific tools (for literature search, translation, polishing, plotting, code execution, review generation, etc.), and delivers reusable, citable outputs. An accompanying “research literature all-in-one machine” supports on-premises deployment, keeping sensitive data within the organization.
